Sonia's comment about "Fort Jacques, Haiti"
RE: Fort Jacques Haiti Hello, please tell me about this little boy. I was born in Port-au Prince. Sincerely, Sonia P.S. He look like any other little boy. He doesn't look sad.
After Haiti Gained It's Independence, Our Forefathers Always Feared That The French Would Return In An Attempt To Retake The Colony. in Order To Protect The Port-au-prince And The Cul-de-Sac, Two Forts Were Built On Top Of The Mountains Near Boutilier. Fort Jacques (for Jean Jacques Dessalines) And Fort Alexandre (for Alexandre Petion). Mounted On Fort Jacques Are Original French And English Guns From The Late 1700's. Each Gun Is Inscribed With The Name Of The Corresponding King. Fort Alexandre, The Twin Battery To Fort Jacques Was Never Finished.
