I walked in to Muzik Arts Studio in New York and I am greeted by a man.

I said Hello and asked if I could see Israel. He is expecting me I said, Can you please call him and let him now I am here.

Before I got off the phone with Israel Samedy, he asked me Do you who that is that just handed you the phone?

No I don't

Standing right next to you in the studio, my friend, is Jean Claude Jean, one of the original members of Tabou Combo

Wow!

Although I always knew his name, I never met him in person.

If you don't take the time to know your Haitian Super Stars, it is you who will look like a fool.

They know who they are, they know what they have accomplished, they spent all their lives making music to entertain you.

If we don't take the time to know them and reward them for their accomplishments, then they will be noone to greet us when we get up there.

Remember that.
